Idyll Wine Co. Collects Gold in New York

Idyll Wine Co has taken home gold amongst some other honours at the New York International Wine Competition. We are delighted to announce that our Idyll Victoria Cabernet Sauvignon has taken home gold and our Idyll Victoria Shiraz has collected bronze. Produced in the Moorabool Valley, the Idyll Victoria range is a quality fruit-forward driven wine made from grapes sourced from around Victoria.

Both award winning wines were produced from vineyards chosen for their ability to produce great colour and body as well as lifted fruit-forward wines. The grapes were fermented on skins for 7-10 days before maturing over the next 8 months with a blend of American and French Oak. Our Idyll Victoria range is available to purchase from our local Cellar Door or via Dan Murphy’s online.

A private label Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon and Barossa Valley Shiraz also collected silver medals at the competition.

Idyll Wine Co was named ‘Victoria Winery of the Year’ by the New York International Wine Competition and is a testament to the wonderful team behind each bottle (or can) we produce. Whilst we are proud of all the products we produce, we are delighted to receive such positive feedback from international judges. Winning awards like this highlight the exceptional quality of our wines alongside their value for money.

We couldn’t be prouder of our international recognition as we continue our path of exceptional growth and diversification.
