Who We Are
IDL is a family-owned and operated full turn-key beverage solutions provider located in the Moorabool Valley, just outside Geelong’s city centre.
We develop, create, package and distribute a range of alcoholic beverages worldwide, including wine, cider, seltzer, ready-to-drink spirit products and non-alcoholic products (such as tonic waters). As a FMCG company, IDL is always evolving and expanding to service the needs of our clients, big and small.
Our Moorabool facility includes a 21.14 million litre tank farm, a fully operational cellar incorporating the most modern technology (including two cross flows, an Omnia, presses, a crush pad and a float). Our packaging facility includes two glass bottling lines, two canning lines and a keg line.

OUR HISTORY
IDL is sited on the original Idyll Vineyards – planted in the late 1960s by Darryl and Nini Sefton. The vineyard was part of the Moorabool Valley’s renaissance, being the first replanted vineyard after the region had been decimated by phylloxera in the late 1800s.
Some of those original vines remain, and the vineyard has been redeveloped to include Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier to produce our Méthode Traditionelle sparkling.
In 2016, the Costa family invested in the company, injecting new vigour and capital into the business. IDL was previously known as Idyll Wine Co. The team on the ground prides itself on continually pushing the boundaries of technology, technique and skill in order to produce wines and other beverage products of exceptional expression and quality.
