Winter Wine Warmers

We have curated some of the best, must try Winter cocktails using our signature Idyll Victoria and Arcadian wine ranges. These wines are superb on their own, but we’ve used the cooler months to create some incredible Winter cocktails sure to satisfy your next dinner party guests.

Red Mulled Wine

Grab your preferred bottle of Idyll Victoria or Arcadian Cabernet Sauvignon, mix with some fresh orange slices, cloves, star anise, some warm honey (Beechworth Honey is our #1 recommendation) and cinnamon sticks. Heat on the stove top for roughly 10 minutes and garnish with some dried oranges – our favourite are from Mary Valley Food Co.

Red Wine Hot Chocolate

Spice up your regular winter warmer hot chocolate by stirring in some red wine. We recommend using the Arcadian Merlot. On the stove melt chocolate chunks with milk, red wine, and a dash of vanilla extract. If you’re craving some nostalgic childhood vibes, garnish with marshmallows and some coco powder.

Caber-YAY

Our super simple combo of Cabernet Sauvignon, a dash of vodka, and a generous splash of lemonade is sure to make you miss those warm Summer nights. If you pour the Cabernet in just right, you’ll get that perfect separation between red wine and lemonade. Use the back of a spoon to slow the pour of the Cabernet Sauvignon.

Mulled White Wine

You’ve heard of mulled wine, but have you ever seen it done with white wine? Mull it over, let us know what you think. Heat some Idyll Victoria Chardonnay, a dash of peeled fresh ginger, water, sugar, orange rind, cloves and star anise for those perfect fireside nights.

Summer Spritz

Think Summer evenings, as the temperature cools off and the sun sets. All you’ll need is our Idyll Victoria Sauvignon Blanc, a dash of Vodka, soda water, ice cubes and some fresh chopped strawberries. This cocktail is sure to bring back the nostalgic vibes of warm Summer nights.
